Steve and Will got married on a wednesday. What a lovely, very small ceremony!! Just 4 of their dearest friends were in attendance. Steve and will were just so much fun! This was my very first same sex marriage and I had a BLAST with these guys and their friends! They had their ceremony at The Viceroy in Palm Springs. Elizabeth and Vince got married on the 20th of September at the Mojave Resort in Palm Desert. http://www.resortmojave.com/ They were such a lovely couple with wonderful children and family surrounding them on this beautiful and warm day.

Monique and Danny got married right on the beach in Santa Monica at The Jonathan Club www.jc.org.
It was a really pretty spot and a GORGEOUS day. I met Monique and Danny for the first time on their wedding day and they IMMEDIATELY treated me like a lifelong friend! They were just such a fun couple, it was a true honor to photograph their wedding.
I can’t believe it’s already been 3 months since I did Liam’s newborn images. He is quite the cutie and a REAL character! Take a peek.
PARKER ~ PALM SPRINGS
Well, it’s been a pretty quiet summer……. which is just fine, it’s too dang hot to be outdoors for too long!
As such I haven’t had much to blog about, so I thought it would be fun to talk a little bit about some of my favorite venues around the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley.

This property is just so COOL! Very retro and uber stylish. It’s “groovy baby”….. said like Austin Powers.
On a more serious note, this is a very classy, upscale hotel, yet they make you feel very comfortable and at home. The service is stellar and the staff is so professional and on the ball. Make sure you check out their website, especially the photo gallery, I think that like me, you will fall in love with this hotel!
O’DONNELL HOUSE ~ PALM SPRINGS
Next is the O’Donnell House. I just love this property, so much character and history. http://www.thewillowspalmsprings.com/odonnell_photos.html This property sits directly above downtown Palm Springs. It’s perched right on the side of the mountain, the view is just to die for.
I get to photograph Pia and Geoffrey’s wedding there in September. I CAN’T WAIT!! Here are a few photos from a wedding I shot there a few years ago.
HACIENDA DEL TORO @ THE EMPIRE POLO GROUNDS ~ INDIO
Next is a gorgeous venue at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio. I photographed Merci and Carlos’ wedding at the Hacienda del Toro venue a few years ago. It is just so lush and gorgeous. It’s beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained. Even though it’s right on the polo field grounds, it’s so secluded and private, you feel as though you are on a tropical island!

Betty and Christof got married on May 25th, 2008 at Le Vallauris Restaurant www.levallauris.com in Palm Springs. It was such a warm, sweet family affair, I can’t tell you how honored I was to be a part of it. Congratulations to Amanda and Brian on the birth of their gorgeous son Liam. Born on April 15th, Liam was 10lbs 3oz. I was so honored to be able to photograph him at only 2 weeks old. Take a peek.
